Our non-profit preschool is a ministry of the First United Methodist Church of Castle Rock. Our program provides loving care to children 12 months (and walking) to six years old in a positive, safe, Christian environment. At Little Blessings children develop emotionally, physically, academically, and spiritually through play!
The Little Blessings program is designed to provide toddlers and preschoolers with the necessary motor, educational, and social skills for a smooth transition into the elementary school system where they don't just survive but thrive in all settings. Each day is structured with fun activities in a Christian environment. The curriculum involves a whole language (thematic) approach. A topic for the day is integrated into the curriculum making it age and developmentally appropriate. In addition to classroom activities, children will also participate in art, music, outdoor play, Bible stories and lessons, physical education, and science. We strive to meet the social, emotional, academic, and physical needs of each individual child.
Little Blessings PDO offers flexible day options Monday through Friday with class times from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
At Little Blessings, we recognize each child as an individual, and teach to each individual's needs in all areas of development. We do this by maintaining a high quality team of teachers and ensuring small class sizes. Our learning environments foster the excitement, joy, and challenge of learning and growing. We strive to create a partnership with families and the community, maintaining open communication and events to keep us connected as we support our young learners. Our school community fosters respect, thoughtfulness, and empathy for all. We reflect the vision of the First United Methodist Church: touching people and changing lives through love.
